DVR Recording For the Busy Working Professional

Working long hours pays off with my bank account, however, there seems to be little to no time for some rest and relaxation. I just bought a big screen television and splurged on a DVR using it to record the best stuff on Satellite TV Deals. When you keep a day and night schedule like I do at a hospital, you can run yourself ragged with long hours and no certainty of days off. I never know for sure when I am going to get a full 24 hour period free, so just about everything I watch on Tv has to come off the DVR recordings.
Actually, entertainment is pretty good using a DVR instead of watching TV shows in real time as I can zip through the commercials and get to what I want to see on my own time. Also, if a particular show was of great interest, I have it recorded to watch again, save for later or delete at any time.
The investment into a DVR was minimal and the advantages far outweigh the nominal cost. I am no television addict, but I do like a few shows ready and waiting to go when I finally get some time off of work. Anybody who is busy most of the week would benefit from using a DVR. They are simple to operate and my unit can record up to 100 hours of programming. Great for catching up on news, sports and some of my favorite reality shows, I am a true beliver in the DVR system and would recommend them to anybody that has anĀ active lifestyle.
