If you have bought a pair of eyeglasses lately you probably thought the same thing I did. I just knew there had to be a company that could help the customer save money and still sell a quality product. Later I was reading an article on just such a company. There is a company called Zenni Optical that sells cheap eyeglasses. Not the eyeglasses that the other companies could not sell but fashionable and current styles. As the article explains they make their own eyeglasses so there is no extra company they deal with and they also do not advertise. Can you imagine a company waiting on customers to come and they do not advertise? The concept involves word of mouth from satisfied customers. This tells me they have a lot of confidence in their product. An inferior product will not last long if you are going on word of mouth for your customer base. Customers will always spread the word on a bad product but they will also spread the world equally on a good one. By making their own product and not putting big money into advertising makes a win win scenario for company and customer. There is no middleman so business is done between the customer and the company. This just seems like the way all companies should run. I think you would find much more accountability if they were.
